Independence Day LORDS International Residential School, Udupi, proudly celebrated Independence Day with great patriotism and joy. We were honoured to have Dr. Megha Pai – Senior Consultant Nephrologist, Adarsha Hospital, Udupi, as our Chief Guest, and Dr. Bhavyashree B. Kidiyoor – Treasurer & Trustee, Kediyoor Educational Trust (R), as the President of the programme.
The Chief Guest hoisted the National Flag and was presented with a Guard of Honour, followed by a dignified march past by our students. In her Independence Day address, Dr. Megha Pai encouraged everyone to embrace patriotism and remember the sacrifices of those who fought for our nation’s freedom.
The celebration concluded with a vibrant cultural programme, where our talented students from Kindergarten to Grade 9 mesmerised the audience with their performances.
